How do I start a transcription?
Click the Shabdha icon in your menu bar, then click the microphone button to start recording. Speak naturally, and click again to stop. Your transcription will appear instantly.
Why does Shabdha need microphone access?
Shabdha uses your microphone to capture speech for transcription. We process audio in real-time and never store raw audio on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I manage my subscription?
Mac App Store purchases: Open System Settings → Apple ID → Media & Purchases → Manage to view or cancel your subscription.
Web purchases: Log in at shabdha.app and go to Account Settings to manage your subscription.
Can I get a refund?
Mac App Store: Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund.
Web purchases: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. See our Refund Policy for details.
What languages are supported?
Shabdha supports 25+ languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Mandarin, Japanese, Hindi, and more. Language can be set in the app settings or detected automatically.
